My skin...not so beautiful (not yet at least)

I have had acne prone and blemished skin since I can remember. Sometimes, I am so envious of my sister, who, other than the hormonal pimple or so, has flawless skin. I am not so lucky. Added to that is the fact that I am a total product whore and am not loyal to any product. I have tried every type of skin care regime (from Mary Kay to Estee Lauder to Clinique to Proactive to Cetaphil to Acne Free to Ambi to my Dermatologist's skin care line...okay you get the point!!!) So, none of these have been the SAVIOUR that I have been seeking, so now on to the next one....Juice Beauty!!!!

I have heard such great things about this organic skin care line so I decided to invest. I mean it's all natural, so it's must be good right???

So.....

When is enough enough? At 32, I still haven't figured it out...why can't I let go?

I am up early this Saturday morning just reflecting on the fact that I am about to be 32 next Sunday!!! Yes I am grateful that God has breathed life into me every morning. And I love the fact that my relationship with God is increasing every day. I have great friends and the most supportive family ever! I am the proud parent of an amazing 8 year old, Brice. My accounting career is on track as I plan on becoming a CPA this year. However, SOMETHING'S missing:( And birthday's always come with a bitter-sweet sentiment. Excited to celebrate my wonderful life, but a little melancholy about what I have not done. What's up with that? Self-loathing is not a "B" Beautiful quality I know, but sometimes I can't help it.

So what do I do when I get like this. Give God praise for what he is doing that has not been revealed to me!!! Because though I can't see it, I know that all thinks are working together for my good. So, even with my little temper tantrum and feeling down about getting older (or whatever it is), I love the fact the God always allows me to have these little temper-tantrums but gently reminds me that HE is charge. And he loves me and I am the apple of HIS eye!

So with that said, I am going to have to get over this little self-loathing. Be thankful for what I have and praise HIM for what's to come!
